Murphy's Community Centre in Charlottetown has collected twice as many toys, games and books as last year as part of its Toy Story for Christmas campaign.
This is the second year the centre has been collecting gently used and new gifts for kids. Families that are having a hard time at Christmas pick up what they need, so everyone has something under the tree.
Members of the centre's Teen Zone group have been helping sort out the toys, which now fill a large room in the basement.
The centre is accepting donations until Friday.
