Confederation Bridge restricts some traffic due to high winds

The Confederation Bridge is closed to certain classes of vehicles.

The Confederation Bridge is closed to certain classes of vehicles.

The restrictions went into effect at 5:30 p.m. due to to high winds.

Environment Canada had issued wind warnings forecasting winds to gust between 90 and 120 km/h this evening.

High-sided vehicles, including trucks, tractor-trailers, recreational vehicles, automobiles towing trailers, and motorcycles are restricted from crossing.
