People on Prince Edward Island are coming together to raise money for the families of the victims of a deadly fire in Charlottetown two weeks ago.
Three teens from the Montague area were found dead inside a vacant Charlottetown building. A fourth victim managed to escape the blaze, but was injured.
Organizer Krista Condon says they're planning a benefit at Montague Regional High School on April 27.
Condon is related to one of the victims.
"We just want to try to do as much as we can to help these families out in this difficult time that they're going through. So, just we figured just any little bit of money at all that we can try to raise to donate," she said.
There will be donations at the door, a silent auction and a bake sale. Local bands have agreed to play.
All money raised will go to the victims' families.
