Charlottetown police say a splash from a pizza delivery vehicle Tuesday evening led to an assault.

Police say a man was walking along the street when he was splashed by a pizza delivery vehicle that was passing by. When the pizza delivery man stopped his vehicle on Queen Street, near Douglas Street, an argument began between the two.

Police say the pedestrian who was splashed, punched the driver several times in the face while he was sitting in his vehicle.

The accused male is described as 5'4", with red facial hair, heavy, and between the age of 30 and 40. He was wearing baggy light blue jeans, a baggy winter jacket, boots, and a black and orange ball hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
