Charlottetown man was arrested for allegedly pushing another man; no charges yet
A 25-year-old Charlottetown man was arrested for allegedly pushing another man at a small protest outside an abortion conference at UPEI on Thursday.
Charlottetown Police Const. Jason McKinnon says the man wasn't injured.
“The local EMS attended the scene and attended to the victim, the complainant, and determined there was no injuries. None the less, the suspect was arrested, returned to the Charlottetown police station and released on a promise to appear with a court date,” he said.
MacKinnon says police haven't received a statement from the complainant yet. Possible charges are pending.
The 25 year old will appear in court on Sept. 25.
