Let the metaphors begin.
On a quick campaign stop near Rigaud, Que., Bloc leader Gilles Duceppe paid a visit to Mont Rigaud.
In winter the hill serves as a ski centre. This time of year, it is a popular tourist spot, the centrepiece for the nearby town's Festival of Colours. Mont-Rigaud is a splendour of gold, red, and orange.
Duceppe and his wife, Yolande Brunelle, took advantage of a great opportunity, by hopping on the chairlift for the scenic ride to the top.
Like I said, let the metaphors begin.
