Up next? Translating support into votes
Rosemary Barton
Club Soda, Montreal: an NDP rally in a downtown nightclub on an incredibly beautiful day of a long weekend.
And yet, the place is packed.
Not the thousand the NDP had promised but a good 800 strong.
That is not something the NDP would have been able to do here in Quebec even a couple of years ago.
So, if the NDP's real goal in Quebec is growth (and that is what they will tell you privately), then, the party may well be on track.
Now, for the next challenge, turn these supporters into actual votes on Tuesday.
