Music to their ears
Much excitement and anticipation among reporters, technicians — and even Liberal staffers today.
New rally music (the stuff that plays while Stéphane Dion enters or exits a room) has arrived.
Alison Crawford
Actually, by saying "new music" implies that the old tune was actually music.
Let me describe it for you: It sounds like one of those tunes leading into a special newsbreak. It's a few notes repeated over and over and over again. It causes over-tired reporters and campaign staffers to dance around in jerky motions for about 10 seconds until the joke gets old.
In any event, we've been assured the next time Dion enters a room, toes will be tapping.
