Fuss and fizz at Club Soda
Rosemary Barton
Apparently Jack Layton is sometimes a rock star.
Or at least he is today here at Club Soda.
After being introduced by his lone Quebec MP, Thomas Mulcair, Layton walked through the throngs to the groove of Socalled, a Montreal musical wonder.
In the background, huge electronic screens with a big J and a heart sign plus an image of Layton's head, meaning: I love Layton.
The idea, of course, to pump up supporters and voters.
It may also just happen to pump up the leader in this last spring to the 14th.
