Everyone's ready to take off
Alison Crawford
The Conservatives are on our heels!
Just as the Liberal plane was getting ready to take off from Fredericton, what do we see from our tiny oval Air Inuit windows?
A giant Air Canada jet with the word Conservateur on the side.
Yes, it's him — Stephen Harper.
Calls were quickly made between reporters on both planes: "Where are you heading to next? How many people turned up at your early morning event? etc."
Just for the record, Harper attracted more than 500 people to his Thanksgiving Monday event on P.E.I.
Stéphane Dion had around 100 in Fredericton.
Well, we're about to take off to Montreal now. Must sign off.
