The NDP got off to an early start this morning.

For reporters who had stayed up late watching the debate and then, yes, the post-game analysis and then, maybe also, a little of Palin-Biden coverage, it was a brutal return to campaign reality.
Also, apparently quite brutal for the NDP bus driver, who woke-up late and left us standing waiting for him.
Standing in the cold, dark, and early (did I mention that already!) Ottawa morning.
For the record, it wasn't our usual bus driver.
And we don't know if he was also up late watching the debate.
