Arctic intrigue: who will 'polar man' vote for?
Canada's North offers a visual feast for visitors. Standing on the breakwater of Frobisher Bay on a sunny Sunday morning in Iqaluit, reporters on the Liberal campaign tour were taking in the sea, the snowy rugged hills, the fisherman preparing their boats .....and polar man.
Who's he voting for? Polar Man's not saying
A self described arctic super hero he is a fixture at any event in town. And a federal leader's visit is an event not to be missed.
The young man wears a ski mask and long black ski gloves for effect but not much for warmth.
He says all he needs is a T-shirt because he is, after all, a super hero.
Aside from a professed ability to stay warm in a cold climate, he won't say much else about what makes him a super hero.
Or who will get his vote.
