A brief verbal dust-up

For just the second time in the campaign, Bloc leader Gilles Duceppe got heckled on the hustings.

What's a little different this time, is the heckler was actually a candidate for another party.

Luc Harvey, a Conservative running for re-election in a razor-tight race in Quebec City, crashed Duceppe's walk through a popular public market where he was meeting and greeting potential voters.

Harvey began yelling at Duceppe, demanding he go over his record. He screamed the Conservatives' refrain that the Bloc has done nothing in its 18 years of existence.

Duceppe calmly asked Harvey to be more polite. When Harvey continued his rant, Duceppe waved his hand in the air, as if to dismiss Harvey, muttering to his staff, "get him out of here, he's an imbecile."
