AndrĂ© Arthur is a former radio shock jock who unseated Bloc MP Guy Côté in the riding of Portneuf-Jacques-Cartier in the 2006 election. His campaign at the time crowned him with the nickname "King Arthur."

Duceppe is taking issue with the fact that Arthur, on top of his duties as a member of Parliament, moonlights in a couple of other jobs.

"The people of Portneuf deserve a full-time MP," Duceppe told reporters in French at a news conference in Quebec City.

Arthur says he continues to enjoy driving tourists around in a motor coach on weekends. He also records voice-overs for radio commercials on a local station in his riding. And it was recently announced he will soon begin making paid appearances as a commentator on TQS, a French-language television network in Quebec.

When reporters asked Duceppe what he saw as the problem, he replied, "When you have three jobs, it seems to me ... look, I'm an MP, and I find it takes up all of my time."

Is he neglecting his job as an MP? a reporter asked.

"Absolutely," Duceppe said.
