It is not the most scientific of tallies. But as best we at CBC News can figure out, here is where the party leaders went during week one of the election campaign.
Jack Layton's tour: 11 cities, 13,484 kilometres (22.8 hours) travelled by air.
The main cities hit: Calgary, Fort Smith, NWT, Vancouver, Regina, Toronto, Oshawa, Montreal, St. John's, Nfld., Ottawa and Halifax (tonight).
Stéphane Dion:
Number of cities/towns, 16; hours flown, 14.5; flight kilometres, 9,094; total kilometres travelled 10,225.
From the Lib war room: "Our tour took the Liberal Leader from Ottawa (ON) to Montreal (QC), Westmount (QC), St. Lambert (QC), Napanee (ON), Ajax-Pickering (ON), Mississauga (ON), Walkerton (ON), Hamilton (ON), St. John (N.B.), Thunder Bay (ON), Vancouver (BC), Burnaby (BC), Surrey (BC), Victoria (BC), Richmond (BC) and back to Ottawa (BC)."

Start in Guelph, to Ottawa by train, to Halifax by commercial plane, to New Glasow by Car (Prius), to Antigonish by car, to New Glasgow by car (Prius), to Halifax by car (Prius), to Toronto by plane, to Halifax by plane, to New Glasgow by car (Prius), to French River by car (Prius), to New Glasgow by car (Prius), to Halifax and New Glasgow by car (Prius).
Number of hours flown: 4:30 (based on CBC calculations)
Number of kilometres covered: 3,483.12 by plane and roughly 5,000 total.
Stephen Harper:
Number of cities/towns: 12 including Ottawa, Quebec City, Richmond, B.C., Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga, Ont.,
