Dion's job on the line?
It's the first time the question has been asked in this seemingly never-ending ramp-up to an election call.
And you can bet it won't be the last time.
But Liberal leader Stephane Dion was ready for it.
"Do you need to win this election to keep your job?"
Without skipping a beat, Dion responded, "I feel I need to win the next election to stop to see people losing their jobs."
Dion is in Winnipeg for a three day retreat with his MPs.
The politicians rolled into town Tuesday, many wondering aloud if the prime minister would dare call the election before Friday, catching most out of their ridings.
