Cake and candles to go?
Susan Bonner
After all, it is Stéphane Dion's 53rd birthday.
But facing a fierce election fight and signs that the NDP may be picking up support in the Liberal bastion of Toronto (the party holds 19 of the 22 metro seats), the schedule has been changed.
Dion will now join his wife at a rally in the city to celebrate a record number of Liberal women candidates running in this campaign.
Jack Layton will also be in Toronto tomorrow releasing his party's platform.
