Byelection plans proceed
A federal election this fall is a done deal right? Tell that to the folks at Elections Canada.
Today the electoral agency announced it's mailing out reminder notices to residents of Don Valley in Toronto for the September 22 byelection.
The only thing is, that byelection will be cancelled when a general election is called, and all signs point to that happening this weekend.
Oh well, all is not lost. The mailings offer information on the new voter identification rules, something voters there will most likely need to know on what is expected to be election day Oct 14th.
