A puffin painting's political pedigree
So far on the Liberal leader's tour, two reporters and one Liberal staffer have celebrated birthdays.
Each time, Stéphane Dion has come to the media section of the plane with a cake, singing Happy Birthday.

Now it's his turn.
Dion officially turns 53 tomorrow. So this afternoon, reporters presented Dion with one of those giant cards and a present.
Canwest reporter Juliet O'Neil made the presentation. She started off by saying how well Dion must now know about images being distorted in a campaign — none more so than that of the puffin.
She then handed him a very colourful and accurate watercolour of a puffin. And there's a twist too: the painter is Paule Saint-Laurent, granddaughter of former Prime Minister Louis Saint-Laurent.
