On this, possibly the last day of Parliament for this session, there is a feverish pitch inside the House.

In large part it is because the Liberals intend to release their long-awaited carbon tax plan tomorrow. Or as they call it: The Green Shift.

Finding words to sell this plan in a positive light has been part of the difficulty.

Now, one of the rumoured slogans is, "Shift Happens." A typo now would be unfortunate.

The government will be thrilled if this is officially the slogan.

So thrilled, in fact, they are not even waiting for the official unveiling.

Conservative MP Jason Kenney was asked today, in a planted question during question period, what the Liberals will tell Canadians when they see the consequences of a carbon tax. He suggested the Liberals respond simply, "Shift happens."

Funny, but we can hear the slip-ups to come already.
