No BlackBerry left behind
In the wake of the Bernier/Couillard affair you can bet government ministers have been read the riot act over keeping track of sensitive documents and information.
That probably explains why Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day was recently spotted looking panic stricken as he sprinted up the stairs at breakneck speed, into the washroom adjoining the foyer of the House of Commons.
Now Day prides himself in being a runner and staying in top shape, but the “taking the stairs two at a time routine” wasn’t about physical fitness but rather because he’d left something very important behind.
Minutes earlier Day had inadvertently left his Blackberry beside the sink after using the facilities.
Day looked very much relieved as he departed the washroom for a second time, Blackberry in hand.
