Remember them?
As of tomorrow it will be one month to the day that the government received a report on the Mulroney/Schreiber affair.
Dr. David Johnston recommended the inquiry be limited and that the commissioner even consider holding some of the inquiry behind closed doors.
Which brings us to our next point: what about that commissioner?
No word from the Prime Minister's Office on whether they are close to naming one to head up the inquiry yet. In fact, when asked about this, there was no word at all.
The prime minister has said the government will hold an inquiry, so, what's the hold-up?
The Liberals say they understand it might take some time to find someone who wants the job given that the inquiry may take some time, but they say it should get going soon.
So we wait, for news on an inquiry into the relationship between two men and the money they exchanged.
And for news of the person who will have the job of trying to figure it all out.
