A celebrity in the house
During question period it is often interesting to see who shows up in the visitors gallery.
Today, a political observer of a different sort was looking down at MPs.
Daniel Cook, the young boy who hosts the children's television program This is Daniel Cook, was in the gallery with his parents.
It is not the first time he's been up close and personal with politicians.
He spent some time with each of the political leaders during the last election campaign for his show.
Today, at least one MP, the father of a young boy himself, spotted the child celebrity in the gallery and came up to say hello.
It's believed Cook was there on behalf of a Telefilm lobbying effort.
