Ottawa police are looking for two men accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in a Barrhaven field early Tuesday.

Police say the 19-year-old woman was walking alone at about 2 a.m. in a field between Claridge and Longfields drives on Tuesday when two men approached her.

The woman told police she was sexually assaulted before she was able to flee from the two men.

Residents in the area heard a commotion and called 911, police said.

Police officers responded but they couldn’t find the two suspects, who fled the scene.

The men are described as white, in their mid-20s, who were wearing baggy pants at the time and possibly driving a small vehicle.

Anyone with information about this incident should call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 5944 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477.
