In January Ontario Today did a program about people living on the edge, barely making enough to make ends meet. CBC Radio host Rita Celli asked listeners what they would do if they landed a secure job.

One of the callers that day was Siobhan from Meaford, Ont., who said she'd buy a full-sized fridge. Siobhan had been living out of a bar fridge for ten years.

After the show, someone emailed and asked if they could help her but the problem was that Ontario Today didn't have her number or her last name.
