To mark what would have been Elvis Presley's 80th birthday, CBC Ottawa dug through the archives to find some footage of his visit to the nation's capital, and how Ottawans remembered the show decades later in 2007.

Presley visited Ottawa and performed a concert on April 3, 1957.

On the 30th anniversary of Presley's death in 2007, CBC reporter Cory O'Kelly spoke to some of the Ottawans who attended the 1957 concert.
