The Spartan Race in 90 seconds
6.7-km run and several obstacles faced thousands of athletes in Wakefield, Que., Saturday
Thousands of brave, and somewhat masochistic, athletes took on the Spartan Race course in Wakefield, Que., on Saturday and many more did it again Sunday.
It included running up and down the hill at Ski Edelweiss for 6.7 kilometres, due to a mistake in the course setup, climbing walls, running through freezing cold water, crawling under rope and through small holes, and more.
You can watch a quick 90-second sample of what the athletes faced in the video above.
