Police have released photos of two men suspected in an Ottawa-based drug trafficking operation after seizing 24.5 kilograms of cocaine earlier this week.

Ravinder Grewal, 32, and Bassam Elouta, 34, both of Toronto, are wanted on drug charges. Seven men have already been arrested. 

On Wednesday, police executed nine search warrants in Ottawa, the culmination of a two-year joint operation of Ottawa Police, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police they dubbed Project Anarchy.

Police said the street value of the drugs seized was approximately $12,250,000. They also seized 10 vehicles, four firearms and two imitation firearms.

At a news conference Thursday, police said the Ottawa-based network was led by Hisham “Terry” Alkhalil, 31, of Ottawa. Alkhalil was charged with one count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine and one count of conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime over $5,000.

Eight other men face a total of 73 charges.

  • Ryan Salt, 32, of Constance Bay.
  • Tyler Frey, 24, of Ottawa.
  • Aaron Deriger, 22, of Ottawa.
  • Jordan Forester, 36, of Ottawa
  • Reagan Kavanagh, 19, of Ottawa
