A team of police forces busted what they call a "sophisticated synthetic drug lab" in a bungalow southeast of Ottawa earlier this week.

On Wednesday, Ontario Provincial Police, Ottawa police and Cornwall police executed a search warrant on Forest Road in Williamsburg, Ont., between Morrisburg and Winchester.

A 29-year-old man from Greely, Ont., was arrested at the scene and is facing several charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Police seized more than $15,000 and samples of various substances.

The lab — suspected of having produced methamphetamine — was dismantled Thursday with the help of firefighters.
