Police are escorting a tractor-trailer off the Highway 417 after it had earlier struck the Lees Avenue overpass.
One lane of Highway 417 was closed westbound at Lees Avenue after the tractor-trailer with an oversized load struck the overpass at about 11 a.m. The highway was completely closed westbound for a time.
Work crews confirmed the Lees Avenue overpass was not damaged in the collision, the Ontario Provincial Police said.
OPP and Ministry of Transport trucks are escorting the tractor-trailer through the city, west bound on Highway 417.
