Snowmobile crash kills man in Val-des-Monts

A 24-year-old man was killed in a snowmobile crash on Lac St. Pierre in Val-des-Monts, Que., early Saturday evening.
MRC des Collines regional police said the man was driving on the lake just before 5:30 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a snowbank.
There was no passenger on the snowmobile.
The man was taken to Wakefield Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating the crash and have will not release more details until the man's family has been notified.
