Four people are dead after a head-on collision on Highway 117 in the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, between the Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions.
The southbound car, occupied by two adults and two children, crashed into a pickup truck around 1 p.m.
The park is located about 350 kilometres northwest of Montreal.
Police think the driver of the car veered into the oncoming lane before crashing into a pickup truck.
The driver of the truck was taken to hospital. Authorities expect him to recover.
The road is closed in both directions for an undetermined period of time.Share Tools
