Driver in critical condition after Franktown Road crash

Two people are seriously hurt after their minivan went off the road and hit a culvert just south of the Village of Richmond.
The driver of the vehicle, a 60-year-old man, is in critical condition in hospital with life-threatening head injuries, paramedics said.
The passenger, a 54-year-old woman, is in hospital in stable condition with a broken arm and leg and internal injuries.
The crash happened at 10:45 a.m. on Franktown Road, between Joy's and Conley Roads, about 40 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.
Ottawa police are investigating the incident.
