Ottawa police are looking for a man after a series of armed robberies at retail stores.

The first incident happened at a gas station along the 3700 block of Fallowfield Road on Nov. 21. Police said a lone man carrying a handgun entered, demanded and received cash and lottery tickets and then fled.

Police said three days later a similar robbery happened at a pharmacy along the 1100 block of Wellington Street West.

A man armed with a handgun then twice robbed the same gas station along the 2100 block of Prince of Wales Drive: first on Dec. 2, and then on Sat., Dec. 8.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, between five feet eight inches and six feet in height and with a thin to medium build. Police say he spoke English but with a noticeable accent.
