Ottawa police are searching for a missing nine-year-old girl who is believed to be in the care of her mother, who does not have any custody rights.
Jasmine Olleik, 9, was reported missing Wednesday and she was last seen stepping into a blue sedan that day. (Ottawa Police Service)Jasmine Olleik was last seen Wednesday at about 3 p.m. while walking with a woman and getting into a four-door blue sedan in the 1500 block of Blohm Drive in Ottawa's south end.
Olleik was wearing a pink winter jacket and pink and brown boots that day, according to police.
Her father, who has full custody, reported her missing later that day. He told police he believed the mother, 42-year-old Nina Grebenschikov, had likely taken the girl.
