A woman is in hospital with serious leg injuries after she was struck by a pickup truck on Marier Road near Beechwood Ave Tuesday morning.

Ottawa paramedics said when they arrived at the scene at 9:22 a.m. the woman was partially trapped under the truck.

She was transported to hospital and is in serious condition.

Police are investigating the incident.
