Woman hit by van in Gatineau parking lot

A 62-year-old woman is in hospital after a minivan struck her in the Gatineau Costco parking lot this morning.
Gatineau police said the woman was walking across the parking lot of the retail outlet on Maloney Boulevard West at about 10:18 a.m. when the vehicle hit her.
She suffered injuries to her head and leg and was taken to Hull hospital.
The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle was also taken to hospital to be treated for nervous shock.
Police are investigating.
