The 43rd annual Help Santa Toy Parade gets underway at 11 a.m. today, affecting traffic in downtown Ottawa until about 1 p.m.

Here's the parade route:

The parade starts on Wellington Street at Old Wellington Street, then makes its way east, to Bank Street.

At Bank Street, the parade shifts south to Laurier Avenue.

At Laurier Avenue, the parade heads east again to City Hall on Elgin Street, where it ends at about 1 p.m.
