Man stabs friend in face with screwdriver

A man was stabbed in the face with a screwdriver after an argument with a friend. (CBC)Charges are pending after a fight between two friends led to one man stabbing the other in the face with a screwdriver, Gatineau police say.
The men were drinking at a home on Isidore-Ostiguy Street when an argument ensued, police added.
It escalated until one man, 29, stabbed a 22-year-old man in the face with the screwdriver.
The victim's injuries are not life threatening, but he was taken to hospital.
Police have the suspect in custody and charges are pending.
