Man arrested in Delta, B.C., following Amber Alert

A man was arrested at a home in Delta, B.C., on Monday following an Amber Alert. (Steve Lus/CBC)
Police in Delta, B.C., arrested a man at a family home early this morning following the issuance of an Amber Alert late Sunday night after a teenager was reported missing.
Police surrounded the home after a green van identified in the Amber Alert was found parked outside the home around 7 a.m. PT.
Delta police then contacted the man inside the home by telephone and he immediately surrendered without incident.
The missing teenager was found safe inside the home.
Police said the man has a history of mental illness but they were not aware of any criminal record.
