Motorcycle crash sends man to hospital

A 30-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital in serious condition after a crash in Ottawa's east end.
This motorcycle crashed into the side of a red vehicle on Cummings Avenue Thursday evening, knocking out the motorcyclist. (CBC)Paramedics and police responded to the intersection of Cummings Road and Burleigh Private just after 6 p.m. Thursday where they found a motorcycle collided with a red sedan.
The man on the motorcycle was unconscious and paramedics used advanced life support to stabilize him. He was then brought to hospital.
He suffered severe head and chest injuries.
Ottawa police closed Cummings Rd. for their investigation but it has since been reopened.
