There were 25 deaths as a result of traffic collisions last year in Ottawa, which the city said was the lowest number of fatalities in six years.
Injuries were also down slightly to 3,690 in 2011 from 3,822 in 2010.
There were 15,295 collisions on all federal, provincial and municipal roadways within the city limits, a 2.3-per-cent increase from the previous year. Paramedics responded to about a quarter of those collisions.
The city also released data on the signalled intersections that had the most collisions.
Hunt Club Road and Riverside Drive had the most collisions with 53, while nearby Hunt Club and Prince of Wales was tied for fourth place with 30 collisions.
