Ottawa police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to hospital Friday night.
The shooting happened in the area of Robinson and Lees Avenues at around 9:59 p.m.
One man was taken to hospital with non-threatening gunshot wounds to his lower leg.
The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs unit is still investigating.
Earlier on Friday, an Ottawa city councillor called for new gun-control measures that would include examining zoning laws and limits on where weapons can be sold.
