A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 27-year-old concert promoter and festival founder alleged to have stolen the proceeds of a two-day music festival held at Ottawa Stadium over Canada Day weekend.
Police are asking for the public's help to find Nickolas Guindon-Vachon of Ottawa, who founded the Escapade Music Festival.
The warrant was issued days after police were called to the stadium on Tuesday, where other festival organizers said $600,000 was missing.
