Former CBC Ottawa Morning and The House host Kathleen Petty left the airwaves in August to take a job as host of The Eyeopener in her hometown of Calgary.
But she put off the move to stay in Ottawa to receive medical treatment for cancer, discovered earlier in the year.
In this full-length interview, she speaks to CBC Ottawa's Lucy van Oldenbarneveld about how she's doing and to share how her illness has changed her outlook on life.
