Temperatures in the Ottawa region have plunged, and photographers have been out capturing winter's splendour.
This slideshow, narrated by CBC weather specialist Ian Black, features some of the best photos sent in by CBC Ottawa's audience.
While it took a while to arrive, the winter scenery was worth the wait.
