Ottawa police are investigating a collision Thursday that killed the driver of a minivan.
The collision, between the minivan and a cube van, happened on Merivale Road south of Slack Road.
The identity of the victim was not immediately known.
The driver of the cube van suffered non-life threatening injuries to his chest and was treated by paramedics on scene.
Police have closed Merivale Road in both directions between Pineglen Crescent and Fallowfield Road while they investigate.
