Russell Williams, the former commander of Canadian Forces Base Trenton who is facing murder charges in eastern Ontario, will make his next court appearance on Aug. 26.
Williams made another brief appearance via video link in a Belleville courtroom on Thursday morning where the new date was agreed on.
Williams is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of air force flight attendant Cpl. Marie-France Comeau, 37, who worked at the Trenton military base, and Jessica Lloyd, 27, of Belleville.
He is also charged with sexual assaults against two other women and faces 82 more charges related to break-ins that took place from 2007 to 2009 in Ottawa, Belleville and other areas of eastern Ontario.
Williams is currently being held in the Quinte Detention Centre in Napanee, near Belleville.
