Three people are dead following a plane crash north of Dryden in northwestern Ontario.
Wreckage of the crash was spotted Sunday evening by the crew of a C-130 Hercules from CFB Trenton. Rescuers jumped from a Griffon helicopter over the crash site, which is about 20 kilometres from Cat Lake.
A Lockhart Air Service charter plane that left Sioux Lookout for Cat Lake on Friday was reported overdue that evening, and a search was subsequently launched.
The identities of the three crash victims have not been released.
