Four Ottawa swine flu immunization clinics have exhausted their daily supply of vaccine and are no longer accepting patients.

The clinic at 100 Constellation Cres. began turning people away shortly after 5 p.m. ET.

The Kanata Recreation Centre clinic ran out of wristbands shortly after noon, while the Orléans Client Service Centre began turning people away just after 1 p.m.

The clinic at the Fred Barrett Arena accepted no new patients after about 10:30 a.m.

However, those clinics continued to vaccinate individual front-line health-care workers.

Limited shots were available at other clinics in the city.

As of 5:55 p.m., about 75 wristbands were available at the Sarsfield clinic on Colonial Road, according to Ottawa Public Health.

As of 1:40 p.m. about 150 wristbands remained at the Vanier-Richelieu clinic, and as of 2:45 p.m., fewer than 100 wristbands remained at the Tom Brown Arena clinic.

Most clinics began giving out the vaccines at 2:30 p.m.

Gatineau clinics still open

Gatineau's two vaccination clinics are still accepting patients.

Women who are more than 20 weeks pregnant and children between six months and five years old can still get their shots.

According to Gatineau public health officials, 400 tickets are available at the clinic at Les Promenades de l'Outaouais shopping centre and an additional 150 tickets are available at the clinic on Montée Paiement.
